Columbia Law School Panel: The Relationship of United States Constitutional Law and Foreign Constitutional Law

As part of events honoring Justice Ginsburg's 10th anniversary on the Supreme Court, Columbia Law School sponsored a panel entitled "The Relationship of United States Constitutional Law and Foreign Constitutional Law." During the panel, Justice Breyer discussed the role that international and foreign law can play in interpreting and developing U.S. law. Other panelists included Justice Aharon Barak, President of the Supreme Court of Israel, Honorable Claire L'Heureux-Dube, formerly of the Supreme Court of Canada, and President Gil Carlos Rodriguez Iglesias, European Court of Justice.
