The Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign has submitted a petition to the Organization of American States requesting a hearing before the Commission on Human Rights commencing in February 2005 so that the Commission may consider more fully the status of the right to adequate housing in the Americas, with a particular focus on Brazil, Canada, and the United States.
